Valparaiso Move in Review

This weekend marks the one-month anniversary that JM2 Webdesigners moved from their Zoseco Co-working space to their new home at 403 East Lincolnway. The new web design and social media location is still in Cullman Alabama and just five blocks East of the old Zoseco Co-working location. What though has a move done for JM2 Webdesigners, its employees, and most important the clients that it services? We are going to look back at what this move has done.

It's all about location

The biggest change is the location from the third floor ground level. Previously we were in the heart of downtown Cullman right off of Washington Street on the third floor above Gil Drugs. The new location is a block East of the main downtown area. Still within walking distance and we've noticed a lot of foot traffic at the new location even late at night every day of the week.

Walk Ins

Speaking of walk-ins, we expected existing clients would visit our location but would never have expected so many new clients would show up and want to see what the new space is about. Many have passed our sign done by Simko Signs and asked if it was just installed. To their surprise the sign has been installed a week before the Cullman Popcorn Fest.

Signage

Speaking of signage, we couldn't be happier with it. We are getting more visibility within the city where people didn't know we were even around. One would expect that being in downtown Cullman for two years more businesses would know about us. We have always gone by word-of-mouth which has been great. Now with some great signage people are taking notice beyond referrals from our existing clients.

Space

This has to be the most enjoyed change for the team. With a 17-fold increase in space the team has been able to stretch out and enjoy more room. With the space we have been able to add new capabilities and now have more whiteboard space for taking notes, working on multiple projects more easily, and taking advantage of a much larger workspace.

Co-working Change

The biggest change was moving from a shared space to our own dedicated space. With co-working the biggest benefits are you get to work with some truly great people and share the costs. Now that we are no longer in the shared space we have increased expenses. The great news for our clients is our prices are not being increased due to the move.

Conclusion (Was it worth it?)

Absolutely. Zoseco Co-working allowed us to prove out that are non-standard business model was not only possible but would work. That businesses would appreciate having a company that became a virtual employee dedicated to their growth. During the past two years we were able to refine our product line. Now we have room to take on new ideas and innovations to further help businesses grow. Without Zoseco Co-working this would not have been possible. To that end if you are looking for a great co-working space or want to know more let us know. We'll explain everything to you and we definitely want to give our HUGE THANKS to Eric and Ahna for being their through that huge growth period.
