Candidate FAQ

Independent Sales Representative FAQ

Is there a salary or hourly wage?
No. This is a commission-only independent-contractor opportunity. It does not include salary, hourly compensation, a guaranteed draw, minimum earnings, employee benefits, or guaranteed commissions.
What is the standard commission rate?
The current standard rate is 25% of Eligible Collected Revenue from qualifying customers properly attributed to the representative under the active Commission and Lead Attribution Plan.
How long do recurring commissions continue?
Qualifying recurring commissions continue while the customer remains active and in good standing, Brilliance, Inc. receives and retains the qualifying payment, the account remains attributed to the representative, and the representative remains actively contracted.
What happens to commissions after separation?
Future recurring commissions stop on the effective date the representative relationship ends. Commissions already earned before separation are handled under the executed agreement and applicable law.
How does the quarterly bonus work?
A representative who satisfies the written quarterly sales target and account-quality requirements earns a bonus equal to 5% of qualifying commissions earned during that quarter. The applicable target and rules are provided in writing before the quarter begins.
Are leads supplied?
Representatives are generally responsible for generating and managing their own prospecting activity and pipeline. The company may assign inbound or other opportunities when available, but leads, appointments, and customers are not guaranteed.
How are leads protected?
Opportunities are registered and tracked through the company CRM. Lead protection, abandonment, reassignment, house accounts, inbound opportunities, and shared-sale rules are governed by the current Lead Attribution Plan.
Do representatives receive exclusive territories?
No exclusive geographic territory is guaranteed. Representatives may work in approved markets, subject to lead registration, existing-account protections, house accounts, availability, and applicable restrictions.
Can I sell products or services for other companies?
Independent representatives may generally work with other businesses, provided those activities do not create an undisclosed conflict, involve prohibited direct competitors, misuse confidential information, or interfere with customer and legal obligations.
Am I responsible for implementation or technical support?
Not unless separately authorized and compensated in writing. The representative’s primary responsibility is qualified business development, sales, accurate CRM documentation, and a professional handoff to onboarding and support.
Are leadership opportunities available?
As the organization grows, high-performing representatives may be considered for senior sales, mentoring, team-lead, strategic-account, management, or director-level opportunities. Advancement is not guaranteed and depends on performance, ethics, customer retention, teamwork, documentation, company growth, and business need.
